REVIEW: Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks – Bond Girl & Red Carpet Red

Hey Everyone!

Hope you’re all well,

I know Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks are difficult to get a hold of and a lot of people only have the option of ordering them online. So I thought of sharing some of my favourites, giving you a rough idea of what the lipsticks look like on my complexion and letting you know what my thoughts were!

1. Bond Girl

No matter what skin complexion you have and must have from the collection is Bond Girl. Just as the name suggests – everyone wants to be a Bond Girl!

The colour is unique as can be described as a neutral reddish-pinkish brown. The formulation is semi-matte with full coverage, is long lasting and hydrating on the lips.

However, this shade looks like a nude pink on me and will look more like a nude with someone with of a darker skin complexion. (I’m an NC42).

Over, all it’s a really nice everyday lipstick that I would recommend every girl should have. So if you’re purchasing your first lipstick from the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Collection, then deffo go for the shade Bond Girl, it’s one of their best sellers and it’s so nice!

2. Red Carpet Red

If you need to create a “Don’t Fuck With Me” face, this is the perfect lipstick to use!

As many of you know, I’m a massive fan of red lipsticks! I always wear red lipsticks to my job interviews. I just think they look so beautiful and I believe there is a shade for everyone!

Out of all my red lipsticks, I love Red Carpet Red, it’s a true ruby red that leans a bit on the cool side. I love this lipstick more than Ruby Woo by Mac. Again, the formulation doesn’t tug or drag at your lips nor does the formulation dry out my lips (like Ruby Woo). I would actually call this more of a velvet effect lipstick, as the colour retains a lot of dimensions even without shine.

I love wearing this lipstick! It makes me feel confident and it’s so comfortable to wear and I rarely have to worry about it bleeding on to my chin.

Charlotte Tilbury – Red Carpet Red

Price: £24

Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution Lipsticks are definitely on the higher end. However, the lightweight, comfortable matte formula is so worth the money, beats any MAC lipstick I have ever bought.

The packaging is luxurious look at! The gorgeous textured rose gold packaging gives me Great Gatsby Vibes.

Is this lipstick a splurge? Definitely. Am I sorry that I spent my own money on it? Not at all. It’s certainly not an essential item, but if you’re in the mood for a fancy and gorgeous lipstick I would absolutely recommend one from the Matte Revolution line.

Hope you found this post helpful!
