Hope you’re all well!
So after really liking the Kiehl’s – Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque, I had to try another mask from their range. So, I picked out the Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Masque after hearing so many good things about this mask!
So it’s a 100ml tub of product for £34 which is very pricey! The most expensive mask I’ve bought.
The product is said to:
- Energize the look of dull, fatigued skin.
- Help skin regain its natural, healthy appearance
- Brighter looking skin
- Smoother, brighter,
- illuminated-looking skin.
So overall, the product aims to make your skin look brighter and healthier.
Now I find this a bit of a gimmick because, for one, the only way to achieve brighter and healthier looking skin is by exercising, eating fruits, sleeping well and drinking a lot of water. So I was intrigued to see if this mask really did live up to its promises.
The product contains:
- Cranberry seed oil
- Crushed Cranberry seeds
- Turmeric Extract
I’ve used quite a lot of this because I really wanted to be sure if this pricey pot of gold actually did wonders for my skin… so this is what the actual mask looks like:
I applied this before I took a shower, on a Saturday evening, home alone feeling like crap because mother nature decided to visit.
The mask is thick and easy to apply, leaving a nice cool sensation as you spread the mask. As the mask was drying I could feel the mask tightening on to my skin and while looking into the mirror I saw that the product really did sink in because when I smiled the mask would “crease” where my smile lines would be.
I left this mask on for about 20-30 minutes until it was completely dry and I headed to the shower.
Overall Verdict: 2.5/5
I did notice my skin was a lot smoother, the acne scars on my face and my dark eye bags looked a little brighter, however overall my skin still did look tired and this mask didn’t do much for giving my skin life, I feel like the clay mask from The Body Shop did a better job for half the price. I really did want to like this product, so much so I tried this mask out 3-4 times.
So overall, I’m giving it a 2.5 because I know there are a lot of better masks on the market that do a better job for half the price and I class this as a luxury product, so I kind of expected better results.
Hope you found this to be helpful!
Lots of Love
